Project Outcome Regional Training: Virtual Information Session

In fall 2016, Project Outcome will begin offering a regional training workshop designed to be a deep dive into implementing outcome measurement using Project Outcome tools. This regional training opportunity will bring an expert Project Outcome trainer to regions across the United States and Canada. Any public library or organization that serves public libraries will be able to book a training to convene a cohort of public libraries interested in implementing Project Outcome. This archived webinar is an informational session that shares the details of what is being included in this regional training, identifies the benefits of offering a regional workshop in your area, and explains the costs involved.

Who Should Attend

This on-demand webinar is open to everyone but will be most beneficial for state libraries, regional consortia and systems, state/regional association representatives, and large public library systems who are interested in providing in-depth Project Outcome training. Project Outcome is a free service provided by the Public Library Association. Panelists

Crystal SchimpfCrystal Schimpf is a library training consultant and co-founder of Kixal, where she provides collaborative, transformative training for libraries and nonprofits. She has provided training on projects for the Urban Libraries Council’s Edge Initiative, the Public Library Association, TechSoup, the Colorado State Library, Community Technology Network, and the R-Squared Conference. Crystal is a degreed librarian with a passion for digital literacy and technology issues and has worked on many projects, programs, and services that require outcome measurement.


Emily PlagmanEmily Plagman is the Project Manager for PLA’s performance measurement initiative, Project Outcome, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, overseeing its development and implementation. Prior to joining PLA, Emily worked as a project manager, at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning on an energy efficiency grant.  Emily received her Master’s in International Public Affairs from the LaFollette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin and her Bachelor’s in Political Science at Marquette University.
