New Lessons in Library Leadership
Attendees got a fresh perspective on library leadership at this free webinar. A panel of three PLA Leadership Fellow Scholarship winners shared lessons learned from executive leadership training that included the “Senior Executives in State and Local Government” program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. These university programs draw participants from various disciplines in government, non-profit, and the private sector, allowing PLA Fellows to learn leadership and change management concepts among professionals with different perspectives and experiences. Fellows shared highlights from their programs and illustrated how executive leadership lessons make a difference in their work and libraries. Webinar participants received educational resources from the programs and learned how they can bring outside leadership ideas into their libraries.
