Susan L. Jennings became the new Dean of Library Services at Chattanooga State Community College, Chattanooga, TN (formerly Lead Librarian for Desk Services at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC).

Sarah Engledow Brown has recently accepted a new position as Reference and Information Literacy Librarian at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. She will be acting as the instruction and collection development liaison to Music, Theatre and French.

Leo Lo, Research & Development Librarian at Kansas State University Libraries, co-presented a pre-conference workshop Stand Up! Developing Minority Leaders as Change Agents; and a poster session, "Getting to Diversity: Developing a Substantive Professional Development Experience in Recruiting Underrepresented Groups to Librarianship at the 2nd National Joint Conference of Librarians of Color, Sept. 19-23, 2012, in Kansas City, MO.

Eamon Tewell, Reference Librarian at Sarah Lawrence College, (Bronxville, NY), published the article: Employment Opportunities for New Academic Librarians: Assessing the Availability of Entry Level Jobs. The article appears in portal: Libraries and the Academy 12.4 (Oct. 2012): 407-423.
