Kylie Balin recently published the article "Changes in academic library space: A case study at the University of New South Wales" in Australian Academic & Research Libraries. Kylie also had "Imagine there's no desk" published in the Victorian Association of Library Automation (VALA) 2012 Conference Proceedings with co-author Shaun o'Dwyer.

This year from January to June, Easter DiGangi is serving as the ALA Chapter Relations Office Co-Member Guide for Team G of the 2012 ALA Emerging Leaders.Team G has been continuing efforts to develop the Librarians Build Communities volunteer program. They were recently featured in the ALA Student Membership Blog.

Leo Lo, Research & Development Librarian at Kansas State University Libraries, was profiled in College and Research Libraries New's Job of a Lifetime column in April. Leo also co-presented "Information Literacy Instruction Meets the Food Network: An Analysis of the Instructional Design of Cooking Shows", Southwest Texas Popular Culture and American Culture Associations Conference, Feb. 8-11, 2012, Albuquerque, NM.
