Kimberly Sanders Recognized for 25 Years of Employment with ALA

Kimberly Sanders, NMRT’s liaison to ALA, was recognized for 25 years of employment at the American Library Association. On April 23, 2010, ALA held its annual Service Awards ceremony. During her career at ALA, Kim has held positions in the former Data Processing unit, Membership and Customer Service Department, Chapter Relations, Membership Services, and the Public Library Association (PLA) division office. Most notably Kim served as the Senior Administrative Assistant to the late Gerald Hodges, Assistant Executive Director of Communications and Marketing.
Kim is currently the Program Officer for Scholarships & Education in Human Resource Development and Recruitment (HRDR) In that position she is responsible for the ALA General Scholarship Program, the Empowerment Conference for Library Support Staff, Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and NMRT.
