Megan Hodge, graduate student at the University of North Texas, Department of Library and Information Sciences, and


Circulation Supervisor for Randolph-Macon College, will be attending the 2010 ALA Annual Conference as the University of North Texas' representative for ALA's Student-to-Staff program.

Kim Lyall recently presented "Gov 2.0 and the Competitive Intelligence Professional" at the 2nd Annual CUA-SLIS Symposium "Bridging the Spectrum" on Friday January 29, 2010. Presentation slides can be found
here. She will be presenting on this topic again to the Intelligence Community Library Consortium at the Library of Congress in May 2010.

Anne Slaughter, Librarian, Adult & Teen Services, Oak Park Public Library, is one of 30 Illinois librarians selected to participate in Synergy: the Illinois Library Leadership Initiative 2010. Synergy is "the statewide library community's movement to recruit and nurture future Illinois library leaders."

Rebecca Miller recently accepted a new position with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. As of May 25, 2010, she will be the Science Librarian for University Libraries at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. Jessica E. Holly Wilson and
Laena McCarthy co-authored a chapter entitled "Touch, See, Find: Serving Multiple Literacies in the Art Library" for the forthcoming Handbook of Art and Design Librarianship, due to be released in May 2010 by Facet Publishing.

Sarah Jo Neubauer recently accepted a new position. As of April 21, 2010, she will be the Campus Librarian at Western Career College's Pleasant Hill, CA campus.
