Alexandra Janvey co-presented at METRO's 2nd Annual Conference and the ACRL Arts Section Virtual Discussion Forum on a recently completed grant project. The title of the presentation was,"Gilding the Gilded Age: Interior Decoration Tastes and Trends in New York City." Jaime McCurry graduated with her MLIS in January, 2013 (Palmer School, LIU) and began serving as an inaugural member of the National Digital Stewardship Residency cohort (Library of Congress, IMLS) in September 2013. Her project placement is at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington D.C. where she is working to establish local routines and best practices for archiving and preserving born-digital content created by and collected by the Folger. Ms. McCurry was inducted into Beta Phi Mu in November 2013. She presented at the November 2013 Archive-It Partner Meeting and twice at ALA Midwinter in January 2014. Her next presentation will take place at IMLS WebWise 2014 on February 11th and is titled: Web Archiving: Promoting Project Awareness.
Kimberly F. Yang started a new position as Research, Education, and Outreach Librarian and School of Pharmacy Librarian at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Health Sciences and Human Services Library. She was previously an Association of Research Libraries Diversity Scholar.
