Hillary A. Berry-Griffioen has two reasons to celebrate: on December 13th she graduated with her MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh - a few days later on December 16th she accepted a position as Cataloging/Community Services Librarian at the Paw Paw District Library in Paw Paw, Michgan.
Alice Wasielewski accepted a new job in October as the Visiting Reference and Instruction Librarian at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.
Rory Patterson recently started a new position as Reference and Instruction Librarian with responsibilities for graduate on-line tutorials with Liberty University.
NMRT member Services Director Dawn Lowe-Wincentsen has co-authored A Leadership Primer for New Librarians with fellow NMRT member Suzanne Byke. Their book can be purchased through Amazon.com.
Haven Hawley is currently serving as the acting director of the University of Minnesota's Immigration History Research. She also serves as program director at the IHRC, an archival research center on migration, with collections centering on U.S. immigration.
Sally Bickley is now serving as the Head of Reference Services at Del Mar College, a community college in Corpus Christi, Texas. Formerly Reference Coordinator at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi Sally has been a NMRT member since 2002 and has served on both the Booth committee as a member and co-chair as well as having served as the Networking Director from 2006-2008.
Courtney Young, NMRT Vice President/President Elect was elected by ALA Council to the ALA Executive Board for 2009-2012. Her term begins at the end of the Annual Conference in Chicago.
