Ian Richardson wins BRASS SimplyMap Student Travel Award

CHICAGO-Ian Richardson, student at Wayne State University, has been selected as the 2017 BRASS SimplyMap Student Travel Award winner. Administered by the Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS) of the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA), the award is sponsored by SimplyMap, and includes $1,250 to fund travel expenses to the ALA Annual Conference.

William Summers Professor Emeritus of Library and Information Studies at Florida State University, was selected as the 2017 winner of the Gale Cengage History Research and Innovation Award, administered by the History Section of the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA).

Hussey, Cordova win STARS Atlas Systems Mentoring Awards

Seangill 'Peter' Bae, winner of Virginia Boucher-OCLC Distinguished ILL Librarian Award

CHICAGO—Seangill 'Peter' Bae, Circulation Services Director of Firestone Library at Princeton University, was selected as the 2017 winner of the Virginia Boucher-OCLC Distinguished ILL Librarian Award, administered by the Sharing and Transforming Access to Resources Section (STARS) of RUSA. Bae was selected for outstanding and sustained contributions to the resource sharing community regionally, nationally and internationally.
