Online registration opens for second summer session of PLA’s free public library advocacy education program

CHICAGO — Registration has opened for the Aug. 8–Sept. 12 session of Turning the Page 2.0, a free, online advocacy training program, developed and presented by the Public Library Association (PLA) with generous support from The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Turning the Page 2.0 will be offered three additional times through 2011 and 2012.

PLA supports Spectrum Presidential Initiative

PLA now accepting proposals for PLA 2012 Conference

CHICAGO - The Public Library Association (PLA) is now accepting preconference and program proposals for the PLA 2012 Conference, March 13-17, 2012 in Philadelphia, Pa.

Proposals may be submitted and updated through the PLA online form until Nov. 30, 2010. After that date, the form will no longer be available, and new proposals will not be accepted. Please note: faxed, emailed, or mailed proposals will not be accepted.
