This webinar will provide an overview of the capabilities and drawbacks of several tools for XML metadata quality assessment, including XML Schema Definitions (XSD), Schematron, and OpenRefine.

CHICAGO—The multi-year RDA 3R Project concluded in December 2020, with the "beta" Toolkit becoming the official version of RDA. One outcome of the 3R Project is that the instructions contain a significant increase in the number of options and other choices that cataloging agencies or catalogers must make, based on their interest in maintaining current cataloging practices, their implementation scenario, their collections, and their users’ needs.
