PLA Conference

CHICAGO — Share your expertise and experience by submitting a proposal to participate in the Public Library Association (PLA) 2016 Conference, April 5-9, in Denver. Preconference and program proposals may be submitted online through Friday, April 17.

CHICAGO – Humorist and author David Sedaris brought PLA 2014, the nation’s largest public library conference, to a laugh-filled close. Nearly 8,000 librarians, library workers, exhibitors and supporters participated in five days of programs that explored the changing role of public libraries. Sessions and events featured the nation’s leading innovators and professionals both within and outside of the library community.

CHICAGO – The Public Library Association (PLA) Conference is known for premier education, engaging author events, networking opportunities and bustling exhibits. This year there’s even more. The PLA 2014 Conference, March 11-15, Indianapolis, is brimming with new events and activities open to all attendees.

CHICAGO — The Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies’ (ASCLA) Library Consultants Interest Group and the Public Library Association (PLA) are teaming up again to offer “Consultants Give Back” at the PLA 2014 Conference 12:30-3:30 p.m., Friday, March 14, in the Indiana Convention Center, Room 244-245.
