United for Libraries Learning Live to host roundtable discussions for Boards/Trustees (March 8) and Friends/Foundations (March 15)

EXTON, Pennsylvania — In March, United for Libraries’ monthly virtual series, Learning Live, will feature two roundtable discussion groups. The March 8 session will focus on Library Boards and Trustees, and the March 15 session will focus on Friends, Foundations, and Fundraising. Register for both sessions at www.ala.org/united/training/learning-live.

The Learning Live program is presented free to United for Libraries group, personal, and Statewide Group Members (MA, MD, MI, NE, SC, SD, TX). Statewide Training Partners (CO, MT, ND, NH, OR, VA) receive live participation and/or 30 days of on demand viewing. Register

Attendees will participate in small group discussions via breakout rooms in Zoom. Registrants will indicate first and second choice breakout topics in the registration form. Roundtable discussions will not be recorded. Each breakout will be asked to provide the top three suggestions/tips from the breakout room. These will be compiled for access by all personal and group members, and those in Statewide Group Member states and Statewide All Access states.

When registering, participants will be able to indicate their preferred discussion topics, or add their own. Topics are as follows:
