CHICAGO — The Young Adult Library Services Association's (YALSA) 2021 Symposium is Hybrid, both in-person in Reno, Nevada, and virtually.

The past year has presented teens and libraries that serve them with numerous challenges that will continue to affect them in 2021 and beyond. Join YALSA, librarians, and YA authors in Reno, Nevada, and virtually for the 2021 Symposium, November 5 – 7.  YALSA discusses strategies for serving teens during difficult times and continues developing programs that ensure our biggest little safe spaces thrive for years to come.

The Symposium is open to everyone, not just YALSA members. This year's theme is Biggest Little Safe Spaces: Serving Teens During Times of Adversity.

Register to attend YALSA's 2021 Young Adult Services Symposium. In-person attendees will have access to the Morris Program, receive free books, and get a chance to meet participating authors and have access to the on-demand content for three months. Virtual attendees will only have access to on-demand content for three months too.

YALSA's YA Services Symposium will be held at a conference center across the street from The Row hotels--Silver Legacy, Circus, Circus, and El Dorado. The deadline to make hotel reservations is October 1, 2021.
