Create engaged and motivated staff with help from PLA’s upcoming webinar
CHICAGO – Staff are the cornerstone of any successful library. Learn how to maximize this incredible resource with the upcoming webinar, “Creating Engaged and Motivated Staff: From Expectations to Excellence,” presented by the Public Library Association at 1:00 p.m. Central time on December 11.
Staff competencies are a powerful way to ensure personal and professional success. Experienced and engaging instructors Brenda Hough and Stephanie Gerding will walk attendees through successful models of competencies and will discuss how to set expectations and assess staff skills. They’ll also share practical resources and methods for motivating staff and helping them reach their full potential.
Registration for “Creating Engaged and Motivated Staff: From Expectations to Excellence,” costs $28 (PLA Members), $31.50 (ALA Members) and $35 (Nonmembers). Groups of any size can register for individual webinars for $129. The deadline to register is 11:59 p.m. Central time, Dec. 9.
