CHICAGO -  American Libraries Live, a free, streaming video broadcast that you can view from your home, library or on-the-go, returns on at 2 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Feb. 14 with a new episode on mobile library services. Moderated by Jason Griffey, author of “Mobile Technology and Libraries (THE TECH SET® #2)” and ALA TechSource columnist, “Mobile Services: The Library in Your Pocket” will feature an in-depth discussion with technology gurus Maurice Coleman and Robin Hastings. The program allows you to interact with the hosts via a live chat, giving you immediate answers to all of your pressing questions.

Coleman has been the technical trainer at Harford County (Md.) Public Library in NE Maryland for seven years and has had a consulting practice since the 1990’s. He has 20 years’ experience training all ages how to sensibly use technology and computer hardware and software. Host of the library training podcast T is for Training, he is on the board of the American Library Association Learning Round Table and writes for the  Learning Round Table blog. For his work he was named a 2010 Library Journal Mover & Shaker, and received the Citizens for Maryland Libraries Davis McCarn Technology Award.

Hastings is the director of technology services for the North East Kansas Library System in Lawrence, Kan.
