CHICAGO — At 1 p.m. Central time on May 31, the Public Library Association (PLA) will host a free live, hour-long webinar, “Managing Traditional and Social Media for Libraries,” covering the fundamentals of media planning and outreach—including social media—to prepare library staff to work with the media and generate attention that will support the library’s activities and advocacy efforts.
Instructor Steve Yacovelli, owner and principal of TopDog Learning Group LLC, Orlando, Fla., will provide practical and insightful steps to connect with community media, to prepare and deliver a media interview and to deliver library messages effectively.
This webinar is an extension of the free PLA advocacy training program, Turning the Page 2.0.
There is no cost to attend “Managing Traditional and Social Media for Libraries;” however registration is required and space is limited.
