Workman’s Book Lover’s Calendars available to ALTAFF members at more than 80 percent off
PHILADELPHIA - The Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations (ALTAFF), a division of the American Library Association, makes Book Lover’s Page-A-Day calendars, published by Workman, available to its members at a greatly reduced price.
ALTAFF group and individual members can purchase the 2012 Book Lover’s Calendars and sell them at a deep discount to Friends, use them as an incentive for joining the Friends, stock them in the Friends’ bookstore or use them as prizes. Each year, thousands of Friends Groups and libraries purchase the calendar as a fundraiser in their libraries and communities.
The retail price for the 2012 Book Lover’s Calendar is $12.99; the discounted rate for ALTAFF members is $2.50 per calendar. There is a 24-copy minimum order (no maximum), and calendars are non-returnable. Shipping and handling costs 5 percent of the total order.
Other Workman calendars may be added to an order at 50 percent off the suggested retail price (plus 5 percent shipping and handling). A wide selection of wall and Page-A-Day calendars can be viewed online at www.workman.com. This special offer is only available using the order form and the contact information from Workman, which ALTAFF members can access by logging into the Friends & Foundations Zone or the Trustee Zone at www.ala.org/altaff.
ALTAFF is a division of the American Library Association that supports citizens who govern, promote, advocate, and fundraise for libraries.
