ALTAFF’s Book Club Choices now available online
PHILADELPHIA - The Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations (ALTAFF), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), has made its collection of Book Club Choices available to the public on its website, www.ala.org/altaff.
The book reviews, originally featured in ALTAFF’s member newsletter, The Voice, are available at http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/divs/altaff/friends/bookclubchoices. More than 40 reviews are featured, and each review includes a link to reading guides and discussion questions. This is a great resource for Friends and/or library book clubs, as well as for library patrons looking for advice on book club selections. Featured Book Club Choices selections are published by ALTAFF’s Corporate Friends, and selected by staff.
ALTAFF is a division of the American Library Association that supports citizens who govern, promote, advocate, and fundraise for libraries. ALTAFF brings together library Trustees, advocates, Friends, and Foundations into a partnership that creates a powerful force for libraries in the 21st century.
