ALA 2011 Midwinter Meeting Registration opens October 1, 2010

CHICAGO - The first day of registration for the 2011 ALA Midwinter Meeting will open Oct. 1, 2010. Registration for the meeting, to be held Jan. 7 – 11, 2011 in San Diego, Calif., will open at 9 a.m. CST.

 

Beginning Oct.1, 2010, participants can register online through the ALA website, by fax or by mail. Hotel reservations can also be made at this time. Attendees must be registered for the midwinter meeting before they can make a hotel reservation. Also on Oct.1, 2010, participants can register for the institutes and optional events to be held at the meeting.

 

Advance Registration, available until Nov. 29, 2010, will ensure the lowest rates. For rates listed in detail, visit: www.ala.org/midwinter.

 

Registration to the ALA Midwinter Meeting provides entrance to the exhibits and other events including: the Adult Literature Spotlight, Exhibits Closing Speaker and more than 200 discussion groups. Also included in your registration is: entrance to the ALA President’s Program, the ALA/ERT/Booklist Author Forum and the Sunrise Speaker Series.
