CHICAGO - A new Podcast featured on the American Library Association’s (ALA) Web site
Get a Job! offers advice on handling layoffs and difficulty finding work.



To help job seekers negotiate career transitions, career development consultant Dr. Caitlin Williams gives practical suggestions on getting organized, maintaining a personal network and utilizing social media. You can hear Dr. Williams’ presentation on by visiting the

Dr. Williams will present the some of the tips included in the podcast, along with other useful information at a workshop on from 1:30 – 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010  during the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Boston, Mass. The workshop will be in held in the ALA Placement Center, Hall B, Exhibits Level of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
