Chicago - The Placement Center will provide free career counseling sessions on Saturday and Sunday, June 26-27, during the American Library Association’s 2010 Annual Conference in Washington. D.C.
As part of its effort to help job seekers retool their skills and prepare for job searches, the ALA Placement Center will host Dr. Caitlin Williams, Ph.D., a career development consultant and coach from San Jose, Calif. Dr. Williams teaches in the Department of Counselor Education at San Jose State University and is Associate Editor of Career Convergence, an online magazine sponsored by the National Career Development Association. She works with individuals and organizations to create and implement professional development initiatives.

bcalvin@ala.org. Please use “AN Career Counseling” in the subject line and indicate date and time preferences in the message. Sessions can also be scheduled at the conference by going to the scheduling booth in the Placement Center.
