CHICAGO - ALA has debuted a new collection of resources specifically for school library media specialists on Verizon’s Thinkfinity.org.

This collection is a starting place for school library media specialists to explore Thinkfinity.org content. Using the Campaign for America’s Libraries@ your library® brand, the collection features rotating librarian-specific content from ALA and library initiatives.

Coretta Scott King award-winning titles are currently featured on the site, and other award-winning children and young adult titles will be featured after the announcement of this year's Youth Media Awards in late January. The page also highlights materials collected from Thinkfinity.org content partners and includes discipline-specific, standards-based educational resources on current subject areas.

At the Midwinter Meeting in Denver, Thinkfinity.org trainers will be on hand at the Campaign for America’s Libraries Exhibit Space to demonstrate how librarians can use Thinkfinity.org. Demonstrations will be held from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 and Sunday, Jan. 25.
