DENVER—The Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) has announced its selections for the 2009 Outstanding Reference Sources list.
Established in 1958, the Outstanding Reference Sources award recognizes the best reference publications for small and medium-sized libraries. An annotated list of these outstanding reference works is published annually in the May issue of American Libraries. The list is also included in
Reference & User Services Quarterly, RUSA’s reference journal, and published on the RUSA website.
The winners were selected by the Reference Sources Committee whose members include Theresa Mudrock, chair, University of Washington; Kathleen Collins, University of Washington; Danise Hoover, Hunter College;Ã Deborah Katz, Washington University; Peggy Keeran, University of Denver; Jacalyn Kremer, Fairfield University; Stella Terrazas,Teton County Library; and Patrick Wall, University City Public Library.
