DENVER—The Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) has announced its selection for the 2009 CODES Notable Books Council Book Award.

The Notable Book Award makes available to the nation’s readers a list of 25 very good, very readable and at times very important fiction, nonfiction, and poetry books for the adult reader.

Authors of these selected titles will be invited to speak at the Literary Tastes Breakfast, a ticketed RUSA event at the ALA Annual Conference. Find out more about RUSA events at the conference—scheduled for July 9-15 in Chicago—at www.ala.org/rusa.

The winners were selected by the Notable Books Council, whose members include Patricia L.
