CHICAGO—Celebrating the 1964 Caldecott Medal-winner, “Where the Wild Things Are,” ALA Graphics announces two sets of posters and bookmarks. Maurice Sendak’s timeless classic, which relates the imaginary adventure of young Max in the mysterious forest of the wild things, springs to life this Fall in a film adaptation of the book. In anticipation of this big-screen interpretation of “Where the Wild Things Are,” ALA Graphics has produced a poster and bookmark with dynamic imagery from the movie, as well as another combination featuring a classic illustration from the award-winning book.
The
Wild Things Poster and Bookmark captures the memorable Wild Rumpus scene where Max and the monsters parade and make mischief. These products join several other children’s classic posters and bookmarks as part of the
Timeless Treasures Set.
The complimentary
Wild Things Movie Poster and Bookmark feature a still from the movie adaptation of the book. Spike Jonze’s creative collaboration with Maurice Sendak brings Max and the Wild Things to theaters this October.
Find both the book- and movie-inspired posters and bookmarks at the
ALA Store where your purchases fund advocacy, awareness and accreditation programs for library professionals worldwide.
