2009 LLAMA/YBP Student Writing and Development Award seeks entries

The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA) is now accepting entries for the 2009 LLAMA/YBP Student Writing and Development Award. All students enrolled in a library and information studies graduate program are eligible to submit essays on the theme "Take the lead@yourlibrary" LLAMA President Molly Raphael chose this as her presidential theme for 2009.
The winning article will be published in a future issue of
Library Leadership & Management. The author will also receive a travel grant of up to $1,000, funded by YBP, Inc., to be used to attend the
ALA Annual Conference, where he/she will be recognized at the LLAMA President's Program and the first meeting of the LLAMA Board of Directors.
