CHICAGO - The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), seeks nominations for the 2008 Recognition of Group Achievement Award, the Leadership Award and President’s Award. The deadline for nominations and supporting materials is Dec. 2.

The LLAMA Recognition of Group Achievement Award recognizes groups or committees that provide outstanding service in support of LLAMA and LLAMA sections and committees.


The LLAMA Leadership Award will honor an individual LLAMA member for outstanding contributions in support of LLAMA and LLAMA sections and committees.

The President’s Award recognizes extraordinary contributions to the goals of LLAMA by outside organizations or by individuals who are not LLAMA members.

All awards consist of a citation to be presented at the LLAMA President’s Program during the 2009 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago. For nomination forms and guidelines, visit
