CHICAGO — Visitors to the exhibits at the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference in Anaheim, Calif., can win one of two Flip Video cameras from the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). All visitors who bring a completed Teen Read Week™ (TRW) passport to the YALSA Booth in the ALA Pavilion will be entered into the contest.

Conference attendees should stop by the YALSA Booth in the ALA Pavilion (Booth #1939) starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 28, to pick up the TRW Passport (passports will also be distributed at YALSA programs and events during Annual). They can then visit TRW Corporate Sponsor Mirrorstone Books, an imprint of Wizards of the Coast, and all of the Promotional Partners listed in the passport, collecting an “I Support Teen Reading Sticker” from each booth and placing it on the “stamps” page in the passport. Completed passports are due to the YALSA Booth by 5 p.m. Monday, June 30. Winners will be notified by e-mail after Annual ends and do not need to be present to win.

The passports also include tips for planning a successful TRW celebration, plus details about YALSA’s upcoming WrestleMania Reading Challenge. TRW’s 2008 theme is Books with Bite @ your library®, aimed at encouraging teens to read something just for the fun of it. More information, and registration, is available at the TRW Web site at www.ala.org/teenread

For more than 50 years, YALSA has been the world leader in selecting books, videos, and audio books for teens.
