Online survey studies attitudes toward membership activities
The American Library Association (ALA) is asking members for 10 minutes of their time to complete an online survey.
The survey, which is being conducted by the ALA Task Force on Electronic Membership participation (TFOEMP), will examine whether members are familiar with, interested in and comfortable with various membership activities. It will particularly focus on members’ attitudes toward serving on association committees, task forces and interest groups.
To complete the survey, please visit

The survey, which is open through Friday, June 13, offers both structured and open responses. Its results will be reported on by the TFOEMP at Annual Conference in Anaheim, Calif.
