Signings, free books at the YALSA Booth at Midwinter

CHICAGO -The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), the fastest-growing division of the American Library Association (ALA), invites members and ALA Midwinter Meeting attendees to stop by the YALSA Booth, #435, in the Exhibits Hall at the ALA Midwinter Meeting for a number of events, including a book signing with Holly Black, author of the popular fantasy series The Spiderwick Chronicles and the Modern Faerie Tales.




Black, whose novel "Valient: A Modern Tale of Faerie" is nominated for the 2008 Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults list, will sign in the YALSA Booth, #435, from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, courtesy of Teen Read Week

Promotional Partner Simon & Schuster. The first 60 attendees at the signing will receive a free copy of one of Black's books.
