ALA blog focuses on tools you can use for School Library Media month

CHICAGO – Visibility @ your library, the blog of the American Library Association’s Public Information Office (PIO), shares tips on what school libraries can do to celebrate School Library Media Month, which is celebrated by the American Association of School Libraries, a division of ALA, in April.

The association has made public service announcements (PSAs) available to school library media specialists. The PSAs feature Carmen Agra Deedy, award-winning author of “Martina the Beautiful Cockroach: A Cuban Folktale.”

For more information, click on the blog, http://www.pio.ala.org/visibility.

Visibility @ your library provides librarians and library supporters with news and information about important communications issues from ALA's Public Information Office and the Campaign for America's Libraries. In addition, you can access the latest edition of ALA News on the PIO blog.
