Coughlan Publishing to host Networking Reception at the 2006 AASL Fall Forum
CHICAGO – The American Association of School Librarians (AASL), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), is pleased to announce that Coughlan Publishing will sponsor the Networking Reception at the 2006 Fall Forum, “Assessing Student Learning in the School Library Media Center.”
The Fall Forum will be held at the Crowne Plaza at the Crossings in Warwick, Rhode Island on October 13–15, 2006, and will feature a panel of nationally recognized speakers on the subject of school library media professionals' role in student assessment.
The Networking Reception will be held on Saturday, October 14, 5 to 6 p.m. and will provide a social setting for attendees and speakers to meet informally and discuss the topics covered by the day's sessions.
