ALA-APA seeks SirsiDynix-ALA-APA Award nominees
CHICAGO - The American Library Association-Allied Professional Association (ALA-APA) is seeking nominations for the second annual SirsiDynix-ALA-APA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Promoting Salaries and Status for Library Workers. The application deadline is December 1, 2005.
The $5,000 award is given to an individual, group of individuals, or an institution that has made an outstanding contribution to improving the salary and status of library workers in a local, regional, or national setting. The major requirement is that the nominee's achievement(s) has been notable. The recipient will be recognized at the ALA-APA Networking Breakfast at the ALA Annual Conference

All nominations should be submitted electronically.
