Tour Valparaiso University Library with LAMA
CHICAGO – Librarians interested in learning about incorporating new automated services into their facilities will want to join the case study and tour of the new Valparaiso University Library, a preconference offered by the Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA) on Friday, June 24, in Chicago.
The Valparaiso Library building includes within it an automated retrieval storage facility, which has significantly influenced the library's approach to print journal access. Participants will hear from the university architect, design architect, university librarian and the library faculty and staff, as well as the manufacturer of the automated retrieval system. The registration fee includes transportation and lunch.
