Online registration and housing for AASL 12th National Conference now open

CHICAGO - Register now for the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) 12th National Conference and Exhibition in Pittsburgh, October 6-9, 2005, by visiting AASL's conference web site at
www.ala.org/aasl/pittsburgh.

The conference will feature an Opening General Session with guest speaker LeVar Burton, of Reading Rainbow and special appearances by award-winning authors Chris Crutcher and Jerry Spinelli.

Attendees who register by the June 17 early bird date can save up to $100 off the cost of onsite registration. Full registration includes admittance to all concurrent sessions, the opening and closing general sessions, exhibit hall and the Exhibit Hall Block Party and the AASL Closing Night Gala at the Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center.
