AASL debuts its brand new look

The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) debuted its new association logo during the AASL President’s Program at the ALA Annual Conference in Toronto.

The logo was designed with AASL’s mission and goals in mind and reflects the global and diverse world of school library media specialists.
Attendees at the president’s program received a complimentary button with an image of the new logo.

AASL a division of ALA, promotes the improvement and extension of library media services in elementary and secondary schools as a means of strengthening the total education program.
Its mission is to advocate excellence, facilitate change, and develop leaders in the school library media field.
