Library Advocates Handbook available in Spanish
In an effort to support libraries that assist the Spanish-speaking population, the American Library Association (ALA) has published a version of the Library Advocates Handbook in Spanish.
"The Spanish edition of the Library Advocate's Handbook will help us to more effectively share the advocacy message with Latino communities," says ALA President-Elect Carol Brey-Casiano,
Widely-used by library advocates through ALA’s Library Advocacy Now! Network, and distributed through the ALA Public Information Office, the Library Advocate’s Handbook contains tips for speaking to the media, working with legislators, and building an advocacy network.
