LAMA seeks Nominations for Division Awards

The Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), seeks nominations for the 2004 Recognition of Group Achievement Award, the Leadership Award, and President’s Award.
The deadline for nominations and supporting materials is December 1, 2003.

LAMA Recognition of Group Achievement Award recognizes groups or committees that provide outstanding service in support of the division’s goals.

·


LAMA Leadership Award

will be awarded to honor an individual LAMA member for outstanding contributions to the goals of the division.

·


LAMA President’s Award

recognizes extraordinary contributions to the goals of LAMA by outside organizations or by individuals who are not LAMA members.

All awards consist of a citation to be presented at the LAMA President’s program during the ALA Annual Conference June 24-30, 2004 in Orlando, Fla.
Nominations should list the activities of the nominee that have contributed in a significant way to the realization of one or more LAMA goals.
