American Library Association Photo Search Contest

Librarians and teachers who use American Library Association (ALA) Graphics posters, bookmarks, or incentives in their library or classroom are encouraged to enter ALA’s Photo Search Contest. If your photo is selected for use in a future ALA Graphics catalog, you will receive five free ALA Graphics posters of your choice. Those who wish to participate may submit photos of kids and/or adults with ALA Graphics products in use. Contest ends December 15, 2003.

Contest entries should be good quality 35mm black & white or color prints, or high-quality electronic photographs. Polaroid pictures and photographs larger than 4”x 6” will not be accepted. Photos should be sent to: ALA Graphics Photo Search, American Library Association, 50 E. Huron St., Chicago, IL 60611.
Digital photos (300 dpi) may be e-mailed to
graphicsmarketing@ala.org. An official entry form is not required.

Photos will be judged by the ALA Graphics Department.
The winning photograph(s) will be used in future ALA Graphics Catalogs to illustrate how ALA Graphics products are used in schools and libraries. The winners will be notified via phone or e-mail by January 30, 2004, and a photo release form will be requested of the winner.

For additional information, please contact Trish Cleary, Marketing Manager at 800-545-2433, ext. 2426. All photo entries become property of ALA. Unused photos will be returned only if a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided.
