John Wiley & Sons, Inc to sponsor the Distinguished Education and Behavioral Sciences Librarian Award

The Association of College and Research Libraries' (ACRL) is pleased to announce that John Wiley & Sons, Inc. will sponsor the Distinguished Education and Behavioral Sciences Librarian Award through 2008. The award honors a distinguished academic librarian who has made an outstanding contribution as an education and/or behavioral sciences librarian through accomplishments and service in the profession. The award will now annually provide $1,000 and a citation.




"The participation of John Wiley & Sons, Inc. enhances the prestige of this award to the education of the social sciences library community as it honors an outstanding academic librarian in the field," said Charles Thurston, Distinguished Education and Behavioral Sciences Librarian Award chair.




Nominations for the Distinguished Education and Behavioral Sciences Librarian Award are now being sought. The deadline for applications and supporting materials are due by December 5, 2003.
