OLOS Launches "What's Happening in Outreach @ Your Library" Web site

The American Library Association's Office for Literacy and Outreach Services (OLOS) has launched "What's Happening in Outreach @ Your Library" Web site at
www.ala.org/olos. The site was developed in response to the many informational inquires OLOS has received regarding programs, policies and practices in library outreach services. The Web site looks at library outreach service from a global perspective, and includes programs in technology, services outside library walls, advocacy, staff development, technical services and public programs.

"What's Happening in Outreach @ Your Library" provides an opportunity for site visitors to share their outreach activities in a fast and easy online format. The Web site is searchable on a number of factors so that site visitors can discover creative and innovative programming ideas in outreach that they can try in their own libraries. Visitors can enter as many programs as they like and their entries will appear on the site in a matter of days.

To add library's outreach activities, or to read about outreach programs at other libraries, please visit
