LAMA seeks Library Buildings Consultant List entries
Reach library leaders and decision-makers by listing your business in the
Library Buildings Consultant List.
The Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA) is seeking entries for the 2003 online edition of the
List.
The deadline for receipt of completed applications is June 1, 2003.
Listings submitted by the deadline and accepted will remain online through June 30, 2005.
The purpose of the
List is to give librarians and architects convenient online and up-to-date access to individuals and companies who have had experience in, and provide products and services for, library building or renovation projects.
The
List also includes consultants and vendors for security systems, furniture, moving services, ADA compliance and other specializations.
Users search the
List by location, specialization, firm name and other criteria.
To view the current
List, follow links from
www.ala.org/lama.
Significant improvements to the online
List are planned for Summer 2003.
The
List offers information about consultants and businesses that have had major responsibility for at least five library building projects within the last 10 years.
To be included, applicants must submit information about education, relevant experience, availability and special expertise, along with a $150 refundable application fee.
Once an application is accepted, the entrant has complete access to the
List, and may update and enhance it’s listing at any time and at no extra charge for two years.
Individuals and businesses wishing to be included in the 2003
List should complete the online application located on the LAMA Publication Web page.
Inclusion in the
List does not constitute endorsement or certification by LAMA or the American Library Association (ALA).
