YALSA announces 2002 Selected List of Audiobooks for Young Adults

The Media Selection and Usage Committee of the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), announced its fourth Selected List of Audiobooks for Young Adults.

The titles represent audiobooks released in the past two years. The audiobooks were selected for their appeal to a teen audience, the quality of the recording and their ability to enhance the audience’s appreciation of the written work on which the recordings were based. While the list as a whole addresses the interests and needs of young adults, ranging in age from 12 to 18 years, individual titles may appeal to parts of this range rather than the range as a whole.
