Register for Better Salaries/Pay Equity programs at Midwinter

As part of the Campaign for America's Librarians, American Library Association (ALA) President Mitch Freedman's Special Presidential Task Force on Better Salaries and Pay Equity is conducting two programs at the 2003 Midwinter Conference in Philadelphia:

• The Better Salaries/Pay Equity Task Force Advocacy Training Part I: Overview and Issues, designed as an update session for those who participated in the initial training at Annual, will take place Sunday, January 26, 2003, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the Philadelphia Convention Center, Room 102A.
• Advocacy Training Part II is a "Train the Trainer" session for those interested in presenting the Campaign at the local level. Those who were not able to participate in the training during the Annual Conference in Atlanta or who would like to be a representative are invited. This training will take place Monday, January 27, 2003, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the Philadelphia Marriott, Salon C.
