LAMA presents "Midwinter is Murder!" at 2003 ALA Midwinter
Come play a part in the fun and intrigue of mystery dinner theater. The Library Administration and Management Association will host "Midwinter is Murder!" in the Mystery Cafe Dinner Theatre at Bistro Romano, Saturday, January 25, 2003, from 7-10:30 p.m. during the American Library Association (ALA) Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia.
Enjoy dinner and a show featuring audience participation, comedy and musical performances. The characters seat you, serve you dinner, act and sing for you - and eventually bump off a few people, right before your eyes!
Event proceeds will benefit the LAMA Endowment Fund, which provides scholarship opportunities for library students to support their pursuit of MLS degrees. The Endowment Fund also provides professional development grant opportunities for LAMA members to attend LAMA Regional Institutes and for an international exchange between LAMA members and international librarians to support attendance at international library association meetings and at the ALA Annual Conference.
Tickets are $75, and seating is limited. For more information contact Doll Thorn-Hawkins, LAMA, 50 East Huron Street, Chicago, IL, 60611-2795; phone 1-800-545-2433, ext. 5032, fax 1-312-280-5033; email
