CHOICE Reviews available through Baker & Taylor's Content Café

CHOICE Magazine, the leading academic review journal, has partnered with Baker & Taylor, a global supplier of books, videos, music and services to public, school and academic libraries, to offer its full text reviews through The Content Café, Baker & Taylor's new enriched content library service.

"We are delighted to announce this newest partnership with Baker & Taylor," said Irving Rockwood, CHOICE editor and publisher. "Making CHOICE reviews available for inclusion in library OPACs has been a major objective here at CHOICE for the past several years.

"As we ultimately realized, the task was too large for CHOICE to tackle alone," Rockwood continued. "The solution has proven to be partnerships with experienced and reliable vendors like Baker & Taylor. We believe this is a win-win situation, one that is good for CHOICE, for Baker & Taylor, and for our many mutual customers. The ultimate winners, of course, are library patrons, especially the patrons of academic libraries who are CHOICE's core customers. We are delighted that they and other library patrons will now have access to CHOICE reviews through The Content Café."

The Content Café provides access to an extensive database of enriched bibliographic information. Currently consisting of almost 1.5 million full-size and thumbnail jacket art images, comprehensive tables of contents, and now a wide range of full text reviews, it integrates seamlessly with a library's Integrated Library System. The Content Café enables libraries to deliver this enriched content directly to their patrons via existing systems at an attractive, economical and cost-effective price.
