ASCLA announces President's Program

The Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA) President's Program, Reflections on Leadership: It's a Personal Thing will be held Sunday, June 16, 2002, from 8:30-11 a.m at the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference in Atlanta.

Can a key event change one's perception of leadership? Panelists selected have experienced unique situations that required them to make decisions about themselves their organizations and their future. These presenters will reflect on how those events have affected their passion for librarianship refocused their priorities and reassessed their leadership.

The workshop speakers are Eloise May, director, Arapahoe Library District (CO); Camila Alire, former dean of libraries, Colorado State University; and William Gordon, executive director, ALA. Please join us for the ASCLA Awards ceremony following the program.
