ALA Editions creates online Author Directory

ALA Editions, the publishing imprint of the American Library Association (ALA), created an online
ALA Editions Author Directory. The directory includes a list of published ALA Editions authors, their book titles, email address, and Web site. A megaphone icon indicates if the author is available for speaking engagements.

The directory covers authors who have published with ALA Editions in the last three years. Users can contact authors directly, read more about the books they've written for ALA Editions and learn more about many of the authors by visiting their professional Web site.

The roster of ALA authors over the years is a "Who's Who" of leaders across the field.

"Our hope is that this will become a resource for our readers, librarians, students and schools and organizations looking for authorities in the field of Library Science," said Patrick Hogan, editorial director of ALA Editions.
