ACRL webcasts offer convenient e-learning

Take advantage of the Association of College and Research Librarians (ACRL) newest professional development opportunity: webcasts of key presentations from the ACRL 10th National Conference in March 2001. Seven presentations from the conference are now available as webcasts - streaming videos of speakers and their Powerpoint slides - where available.

ACRL's e-learning webcasts are available at
http://acrl.telusys.net/webcast/index.html. The site has a complete description of available sessions, a sample selection from one of the sessions, prices and an online order form.

Access to the video presentations can be purchased by individuals for unlimited viewing for a period of two weeks so you can share the experience with colleagues from the convenience of your home or office. Institutions can purchase a four-week period of unlimited viewing, providing a superb opportunity for staff training at a very low cost. Each session comes with a bibliography and set of discussion questions, making these sessions ideal for ready-made professional development/brown bag lunches with your staff and colleagues.

ACRL is a division of the American Library Association.
